Dr. Tripathi is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. After graduating cum laude from Rutgers University with a BA in Genetics, Dr. Tripathi earned his Doctorate in Medicine at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. This was followed by a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His fellowship in Spine Surgery was completed at University of California – San Diego, one of the most comprehensive and sought-after spine surgery fellowships in the country.

Dr. Tripathi has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and presentations and remains active in research. Additionally, he is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.

His practice encompasses a wide range of spinal conditions, including traumatic injuries and degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. His training allows him to cater treatment options specifically to the patient and their condition. His treatment philosophy is simple: “Surgery should be the last resort. I would not recommend any treatment to a patient that I would not accept for myself, my friends, or my family.”

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, swimming, and water polo. He also is proficient in conversational Gujarati.

Dr. Sebastian Lattuga is a fellowship-trained and board-certified Spine Surgeon whose practice is exclusively dedicated to the care and treatment of patients with spinal disorders.

Dr. Lattuga is considered an expert in the surgical non-surgical management of traumatic and degenerative conditions affecting the spine including herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, fractures, and many other conditions.

Dr. Lattuga has vast experience in surgical treatment of even the most complicated conditions affecting patients, having successfully helped thousands of patients. He is considered an expert in fusion surgery, decompression surgery, minimally invasive surgery and is highly skilled at all of the most modern, up to date and state of the art procedures required to address the individual patient needs.

Dr. Lattuga’s training is considered to be impeccable. He completed Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Stonybrook School of Medicine; Internship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, General Surgery; and Adult and Pediatric Spine Surgical Fellowship/Pain Management at University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Medical Center.

Board certified and fellowship trained, Dr. Gbolahan Okubadejo specializes in the treatment of degenerative spinal disease, spinal deformity, and cervical, lumbar, and thoracic conditions.

Dr. Okubadejo earned his undergraduate degree at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore.

He completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Okubadejo completed a spinal surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Okubadejo is a published research author and has presented his findings at several major spinal conferences around the globe. While a surgical resident, he won the Leonard Marmor Surgical Arthritis Foundation Resident Award for the best research project.

Dr. Okubadejo believes in the power of preventive care, minimally invasive surgical procedures, open communication with patients, and personalized care. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures and the arts, and playing golf.

An honorary graduate of Rutgers University, Dr. Alkies Lapas received his doctorate of medicine from LECOM in Erie, PA, and completed a radiology residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. Following residency, he pursued a subspecialty fellowship in Neuroradiology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT, serving as Neuroradiology Division Chief Fellow as well as attending radiologist in the departments of Neuroradiology & Emergency Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He has since been
appointed Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Neuroradiology by Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, participating in rotating medical student and radiology resident education and supervision in both private and clinical practice. In addition to being duly licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York, he holds active medical licenses in multiple other states and currently serves as Chairman of Radiology at Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus, NJ, where he is responsible for the clinical oversight of the Radiology Department, including quality assurance, protocol development, and direct management of the radiology staff. Moreover, Dr. Lapas devotes a majority of his professional time to the active clinical practice of medicine in the specialty of his Yale fellowship training, providing expert consult to surgeons and neurologists specializing in traumatic spine & brain injury.

Dr. Natalio Damien Jr., MD is a diagnostic radiology specialist and has been in practice for over 30 years. Dr. Damien graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1985. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Winthrop University Hospital from 1985 to 1989 where he served as Chief Resident. Following residency, Dr. Damien pursued a subspecialty and completed his Fellowship in Cross Sectional Imaging at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Damien currently serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and is affiliated with many hospitals and imaging facilities throughout the metropolitan area.

Dr. Toder was born in Brooklyn, New York. He went to Midwood High School, then to college at Oberlin College, Oberlin Ohio, majoring in Biology. Dr. Toder did his medical school training at NYU School of Medicine, and then post-graduate Internal Medicine Internship at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, finally Radiology Residency at NYU/Bellevue, with an extra year fellowship in Abdominal Radiology. He was board certified in Diagnostic Radiology in 1980.

Dr. Toder worked in the Radiology Department at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orange, New Jersey from 1981 until the hospital closed in January 2004. In recent years, he has worked at East Orange General Hospital and Hudson Regional Hospital and at various out-patient radiology and MRI centers.

Some of his interests include books, movies, and crossword puzzles.

Dr. Gerling specializes in surgical treatments of spinal disorders. A Canadian native, Dr. Gerling attended the University of California, Berkeley undergrad, UC San Diego medical school, Orthopedic residency at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, LA, and Spine Fellowship training with Henry Bohlman at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He is a fellowship-trained, American Board Certified spine surgeon with advanced specialty training and extensive experience in complex cervical disorders, and minimally invasive techniques for treatment of spinal trauma, degenerative disorders or aging of the spine, and spinal deformity.

An active academic, Dr. Gerling is engaged in education and research. He has authored multiple clinical and basic science research papers, abstracts and textbook chapters, he frequently moderates research symposia, teaches courses for international spine societies and speaks at national and international conferences. He is an editorial reviewer for multiple journals, and he is a course instructor for the only spine surgical skills course offered at the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) meeting. As a member of multiple research societies, including the Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS), Lumbar Spine Research Society (LSRS), North American Spine Society (NASS), and the Herndon Society, he is past President of the Brooklyn Orthopedic Society and a Fellow of the AAOS. He currently sits on the Program Committee for the Spine section of the AAOS, LSRS, and CSRS.

Jeffrey Guttman is a diligent and detail-oriented orthopedic surgeon based in Westbury, NY. He earned his degree in medicine from New York University. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital and a fellowship in sports medicine at Allegheny University Hospitals. He also holds a bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a board certified physician specializing in orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine. Dr. Guttman is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Guttman is sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient’s situation and adapts his consultations and treatment options appropriately to accommodate individual needs and concerns.

Dr. Barbara Steele is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. She received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at New York Medical College. Dr. Steele sees patients at all eleven CitiMed Medical locations.

Nazia Shah, DPM, is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, (ACFAS). Dr. Shah graduated from Temple University and finished her surgical training at Hoboken University, New Jersey.

Dr. Shah has gained training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery with a primary focus on reconstruction, acute and chronic trauma, and sports injuries.

She is an enthusiast. Her passion lies in tailoring treatment based on each individual. She excels in being intuitive to all patient concerns. Her primary focus is patients’ comfort and to provide education to make it easy to appreciate the root of his or her pain. Each day when a patient walks in relaying symptom-free ambulation is a good day.

Mark Goodstein, M.D. is a double board-certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Physician. He specializes in interventional management of spine pain with a focus on reducing pain and restoring the function of physical capacities. He has been practicing for over 20 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Pain Management from Thomas Jefferson Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Dr. Abdalla Adam MD is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist in Brooklyn, NY with over 32 years of experience.

Dr. Alexandre Grigorian obtained his graduate medical degree from North-West State Medical University, St Petersburg, Russia in 1990. After relocating to the US, he obtained his second graduate medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998 and completed Family Practice residency program at Wyckoff Height Medical Center in 2001. Dr. Grigorian is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Physicians and authorized and registered with NYS Workers' Compensation Board. Dr. Grigorian is fluent in English and Russian.

Dr. Olshanetskiy, received his first graduate medical degree from Odessa State School of Medicine, Ukraine in 1991. He received his second graduate medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, N.Y. in 1998. He completed a 3 year Family Medicine residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital of the Mount Sinai Healthcare System, New York and Peninsula Hospital Medical Center of the Northwell LIJ Healthcare System, New York.

Dr. Olshanetskiy serves as a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for the F.A.A. and a Certified Medical Examiner for the D.O.T. He is honorably recognized by the American College of Family Physicians and Diplomate of American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Olshanetskiy is fluent in Russian, Ukranian, and English.

Dr. Olanrewaju Adeosun is an internist at CitiMed Medical. He has been licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York since 1996. Dr. Adeosun received his medical degree from the University of Lagos College of Medicine and completed his residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.
