Marc M. Levinson, MD

Marc M. Levinson, M.D., is Board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is currently practicing at CitiMed. He is an assistant professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical School and on staff at New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.

In practice for over thirty-five years, Dr. Levinson graduated with honors from St. George0s University in Grenada and received the Abdool Islami Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Basic Medical Sciences. Dr. Levinson completed an internship in internal medicine at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, an affiliate of John Hopkins University Hospital. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York University's Rusk Institute and was chief resident of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Bellevue Hospital Rehabilitation Center.

For fourteen years, Dr. Levinson served as the Medical Director of Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital in Delray Beach, Florida. While there, he served on the State of Florida Brain & Spinal Cord Injury Advisory Council and was an Inspector for the State of Florida Spina Cord Injury Council and the Florida State Inpatient Rehabilitation Committee. Dr. Levinson enjoyed hospital privileges at Delray Beach Community Hospital, Boca Raton Regional Hospital, West Boca Medical Center, and Bethesda Memorial Hospital.

In addition, Dr. Levinson practiced for many years in New York City with Seaport Orthopedics and NY Downtown Orthopaedic Associates.

As a physiatrist, Dr. Levinson treats a variety of medical conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.
